Jul 15, 2021 · 7mm-08 is an underrated cartridge. Extremely accurate. The factory ammo available cripples it IMO. It will shoot those 160-170 class for sure, not sure on the bullets above that as far as velocity and twist rate. To wake it up though, you need to reload for that cartridge.

Great powder in the 7-08 but I prefer the 140's. Accubonds or Partitions. I tried it with the 140 grain game king and pro hunter and it shot terrible in my rifle. Jun 21, 2021 · Components. A major advantage of the 7mm-08 over the traditional 308 is the fact that the 7mm-08 is 7mm caliber. The slimmer 7mm bullets have on average a higher ballistic coefficient then comparable 30 caliber bullets. Hey, Has anyone ever used H4350 with 140gr projectiles in 7mm-08? How did it go? Apr 2, 2020 · Now that I think about it, the 120gr Sierra Prohunter is a tougher bullet that at reduced loads is not the best hunting option, its tougher than the ballistic tip and is better for practice than actual hunting.
