I'm finding some of the edges of dirt and cliffs a bit hard to work with and can't really think of a good layout for everything :S. I thought the farm layout was pretty self-explanatory. The area in front of the house has room for plenty of crops. The boxed in areas west of the house I used for a barn & coop (north box) and sheds in the south. Same issue, at first I thought it might be due to festival days but it continued past change of season. So close to having Grandpa’s shed, but still so far haha. Mine took I think 8 days maybe a little longer. I remember thinking she said it would only be 1 day.

Make sure you have the most up to date version of the Grandpa's Farm map. I had assumed it updated along with the rest of the mod, but noticed it was a separate file on Nexus. Until I updated it the farm never expanded even after I'd done everything required for it. I think the ledger is a quest on the order board outside Lewis' house.

You can only have one of the two and it shows up in the vanilla farm spot, iirc.
