Here are my choices for the drive train fluids: --np205 (gear driven), DANA 60 and DANA 44: valvoline 80w90 conventional gear oil. --np435: will change with Valvoline 75w90 synthetic with GL5 spec--looks like some kind of motor oil in there now. Zulder, I'm quite sure the NP205 transfer case has had automatic transmission fluid, 30 weight motor oil, and yes even gear lube as factory approved lubricants over the years.
