Oct 28, 2012 · 2006 Sportsman 500 HO starter won't turn A few weeks ago my daughter very slowly rolled over my 2006 Sportsman 500 HO (she did not get hurt, it was a very slow roll). I did not witness but shortly thereafter the throttle went wide open and smoked like a banshee. My brother hit the kill switch and stopped the engine.
2016 1000 turns over but wont start. Replaced fuel pump, spark plugs, coils, crank sensor. I'm at a lost. Fuses good, relays good. No sputter while cranking. I was out on the trails. The rear end got about a foot of air, came down, engine power cutting in and out till it finally shut off within 100 feet after landing.You should be able to take a small wire connected to your POSITIVE battery terminal and touch the small wire terminal from the starter on the solenoid and fire the starter up. Remember, there is also a 'engaged brake' override to the starter .. the RZR will not start without the 12V brake light signal, so make sure the brake lights are working.Aug 10, 2023 · To start a Polaris Ranger, follow these steps: 1. If you have a charger, hook it up to the battery and turn it on and try to start it again. If it starts, you still have a weak battery. Siphoned the gas out of the ranger yesterday and poured in 5 gallons of 93 no ethanol fresh out of the pump. Had to give it a shot of starting fluid to start. Used the ranger several times with no problem starting. Ranger started normal today after sitting for over 24 hours.

If the pump doesn't run for about 3 seconds when you cycle the key on, then you need to find out why. Sometimes it's just a faulty relay or a bad connection. If the pump is getting power but still don't spool up when you cycle the key, then the pump is bad.

It sounds like you still might not be getting enough power to start the machine. If you have a charger, hook it up to the battery and turn it on and try to start it again.
